Headwind GSM Modem Driver is a professional application which provides the SMS sending and receiving facility to your PC. The software may be automatically launched at startup and is always available in a system tray. By several mouse clicks you can send a short message to any mobile phone in the world or view the incoming messages. The frequently used phone numbers may be saved in the address book, so the software may be used for bulk SMS messaging.
The software has many unique capabilities such as instant notification on incoming SMS, support of long SMS and WAP Push messages, understanding of non-Latin (UNICODE) letters. Headwind GSM Modem Driver automatically configures the GSM modem and determines the best mode for sending and receiving SMS, which makes it very flexible and appropriate for every model of GSM modem or mobile phone.
The ActiveX interface provided by Headwind GSM Modem Driver allows using the SMS facility by third party applications (for example, written in VB.Net). If an incoming message must be treated automatically (for instance, an opt-out request in mobile marketing campaign), a message handler may be set up.
The software is particularly useful for the remote control of the server by short messages, for the acceptance of orders made by SMS during a marketing campaign, for bulk sending of SMS notifications to the remote personnel. The ActiveX interface may be used to build the text messaging interface for business applications.
