This SMS software can be used by TV stations to display a scrollbar on the bottom of the screen in television programs. The scrollbar can display incoming SMS text messages sent by the viewers of the TV program using their mobile phones. Live television programs can be made interactive this way. (Of course the editor of the TV program can preview and delete the incoming messages before they are displayed.) The scrolling of the SMS text is perfectly smooth even on an average computer with a low-cost graphics card. For the purpose of broadcasting, the scrollbar can be displayed in any position and any size on the screen of any monitor attached to the system (e.g. video beam, TV out, secondary monitor...). Various options are available for configuring the visual appearance of the SMS ticker: the flow of the scroller (direction, speed, fading...), text appearance (font face, font size, font style...), positioning and sizing.
