Amethyst ShadowFX is a shadow modelling program for architects and town planners.
With Amethyst ShadowFX you can:
Create horizontal and vertical shadow profiles
View shadow models for horizontal overhangs and vertical fins
Create reports which give information about positions of the sun, times of sunrise and sunset, horizontal and vertical shadow angles, and angles of incidence
View 3D models of sun movements and shadowing effects.
Shadow profiles are output in the form of AutoCAD?DWG and DXF files. These can be imported into CAD drawings for further analysis, or printed onto transparencies for use as overlays.
